NeoSensing seeks to develop technologies that provide greater resilience and biosecurity in different industries for our clients. This is achieved by using biotechnology with molecular biology, bioinformatics, fermentation, process and environmental engineering techniques to create a detection kit tailored to the client.
Our goal is to be a biosensor platform for different industries. The first product is the biosensor for Salmonella spp; a strain of importance in foodborne diseases (FBD).
The biosensor is specific, effective, fast and easy to use for customers.

NeoSensing focuses on the development of biosensors and a biotechnological platform that allows the detection of pathogens in the food production and distribution chain tailored to the user.
This is a rapid, in-situ, accurate testing tool that prevents the spread of the pathogen by detecting it early and increasing traceability. NeoSensing helps in the early prevention of Foodborne Diseases.
Biosensors are developed based on molecules capable of detecting any type of analyte. Biosensors allow the identification of molecules such as antibiotics, microorganisms, enzymes, inorganic molecules; which allows it to be adapted to any type of industry.
Today NeoSensing focuses on the development of a detection kit for Salmonella spp. According to the WHO, salmonellosis represents 75% of the FBDs that are reported in Chile, and in the poultry industry, a case of infection requires the slaughter of infected eggs and birds.
